- AMA membership is required for all EPA members and strongly recommended for all others.
- Always fly safe and in accordance with AMA guidelines
- EPA members should wear their badges when flying
- Use the frequency pins and attach them to your transmitter even if you are flying alone.
- If someone else is waiting for the frequency pin, limit your flight to 20 minutes.
- The use of frequency tags on transmitters is encouraged and appreciated.
- Fly from designated locations or pilot stations.
- Alert other flyers before takeoff and landing.
- Verbally announce all maiden flights to everyone present on the field in case of a mishap or loss of control.
- The departure turn should always be away from the pit area
- Under no circumstances is flying over the soccer field permitted when someone is there regardless of what they are doing.
- Always keep your aircraft at a safe distance from other pilots when performing approaches or low fly bys.
- Dead sticks and gliders should always be given landing and pattern priority.
- If you must go onto the field when others are flying, announce it verbally and loudly to the other pilots.
- Please be sure guests and spectators are briefed on safety and remain off the field.
- Never perform aircraft maintenance on the field when others are flying.
- When salvaging a model do it quickly, and vacate the field as soon as possible
- Do not create distractions to other flyers.
- Some pilots do not mind being approached when they are flying but some do. If you wish to converse with a pilot, it may be best to wait until he or she lands.
- Please control your children and pets at all times
- Kindly take any broken or other trash with you when you leave.
